        Professional, creative, and resilient are just a few words to describe Cincinnati Native, Jolonda Arnold-Harris. Since the 8th grade, Jolonda has always had an affinity for styling hair. After graduating from The School for Creative and Performing Art’s in 2002, she went on to pursue her passion in the beauty industry  by attending and graduating from Moller Hollywood Beauty College in 2004. With over 17 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist,  Jolonda is passionate about making every one of her clients look and feel good.

She is a skilled colorist and precision cutter, specializing in razor and textured cuts. Her artistry has afforded her the opportunity to win two hair shows and become a platform stylist at various hair showcases across the Cincinnati area. She attributes her styling success to two of Cincinnati’s finest stylists and educators at Mitchell’s Salon and Day Spa, Dorothy Rone and Crystal Lewis. It was here at Mitchell’s where she was able to draw inspiration for precision hair techniques and tailored customer experiences.

In 2019, after having worked at countless salons, including Mitchell’s Salon and Day Spa and JusJoci Hair Gallery, she launched Chic Expressions Salon. Here, she provides a comfortable environment for both stylists and clients. Jolonda values professionalism and the importance of keeping a chic appearance at all times. Her mantra is, “Giving Your Style a Voice” which proves true with every style she creates. She ultimately aspires to become a traveling educator/stylist who teaches new up and coming stylists trending and fundamental hair techniques.

 

When she is not working and creating freshly crafted and flattered styles, she can be found spending time with her husband Avery Harris and three children Javin, Ava and Avery Jr.
